The Londonderry United Methodist food ministry, "Eat, Pray, Grow" is a ministry of local and regional partners committed to educating about and diminishing food insecurity.  We invite the local worshipping community to generously donate money, time and skills in the work of gardening, packaging and delivering food.  We also assist the worshipping community and those outside the community who participate in helping people identify, nurture and equip themselves with the resource to become self-sufficient.   At times, these tasks seem futile and yet, we recognize that change and hope are fulfilled one relationship at a time.  We emphasize ministry with the marginalized women, children and elderly in our midst and currently serve thirty-three people in five towns.

We partner with two local farms, the SunnyCrest and Moose Hill Orchards for fresh produce for in and out of season produce.  We also partner with the local grocer's Hannafords of Londonderry and Market Basket of Tewksbury, Mass to purchase bread, desserts and perishables such as milk and meats.  The Eat, Pray, Grow ministry also has a blessing box outside the church where people can pick up food who are not yet in the program but are in need.  In this box, items such as baby care, feminine needs, and cereals are placed.
