Service Opportunities
CASA: Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of New Hampshire recruits, trains and supervises volunteers to serve as advocates for abused and neglected children in the New Hampshire court system. For information about CASA and the next training program in Manchester, click here.
Circles : Circles Greater Nashua (CGN) is a community-based initiative to assist people out of poverty and into sustained self-sufficiency, hosted at Main Street UMC in Nashua*. LUMC has adopted CGN as a hands-on mission with a commitment to provide dinner for participants and volunteers on the fourth Tuesday of each month . Please contact Connie or Graeme Greenhill if you'd like to help prepare meals for this program.

UMCOR* Early Response Team: LUMC has a trained Early Response Team ready to provide early help to those impacted by disasters such as storms, fire, or floods. If you would like to join the team start with the UMC New England Conference disaster response web page or contact Pastor Amy. One-day certification courses are offered regularly.

Mens Breakfast Group: The men's breakfast group meets for a light breakfast, fellowship, and study on Wednesday mornings. We start at 6:30 a.m. and are finished by 7:45 a.m., but you're welcome to join for any part of that time as your schedule permits. We usually meet in the fellowship hall and occasionally eat out.
